We were looking through the pictures of our trip to Myrtle Beach last summer, and we couldn't get over how much in one years time each of the children have changed!
One years time!
Summer had fat pudgy legs with wispy scarce blond hair on a round fat little face. She was still toddling when she walked and couldn't say but a word.
Matthew has grown out of the babyish face and probably a foot in size!
Jake has thinned out and really changed into less of a boy and more of a kid, ya know what I mean? He is in middle school now and not only starting to act more mature, but look it.
Tatum is ever changing into a woman, and right before my eyes. I can't believe how different she looks from those childish looking pictures of last summer.
I guess you get so caught up in all the work of life. The work of getting to vacation. The work of being alive!, that if you are not careful....all that you are working for... is passing you by.
Was it John Lennon that said "Life is what happens to you while you're busy making other plans..."?
I am going to let everything else fall this week. The business. The house. The bills. The laundry. The schoolwork. The computer. The phone. The rules and lists.
I am going to take this golden week and run with it. And bottle it up if I can. Tatum at 15. Jake at 12. Matthew at 8. Summer at 2. Mike at 45. Becky at 34.
