Freedom

The other day it was ridiculously hot and all of us were kind of grumpy. Tatum and I took Summer out to water the flowers. Whether I was just plain lazy from the heat or decided it was something to do, we let Summer try her hand at the hose.

She was so naturally free to spray herself with the cool water and not care whether or not her hair got wet, her clothes were slipping off, the windows were getting spotted, there would be more laundry to do, her diaper weighed 10 pounds...... it didn't matter....IT FELT GOOD!!!!

We all sat in the grass and laughed with her...she was so delighted and funny!
What a gift children have in their innocence and inhibition!
